Do you feel like you’re lacking a sense of passion and purpose in your life? Like something is missing? Like you were made for more?!

Well then you probably were!!! I actually think that we are all “made for more” but not all of us realize it or have the motivation or courage to pursue it.

But here you are….trying to find answers….trying to figure out your passion, because you are not about to settle for anything less than a fulfilling, meaningful and passionate life. And that is freakin awesome.

I’m going to share 3 powerful tips with you on how to find your passion, but first let’s define what passion is.

WHAT IS PASSION?

Your passion is a natural ability or gift that you have that you are inherently good at, love doing, that excites you, lights you up, allows you to express yourself, and that gives you a sense of meaning.

Now you might not be consciously aware that you are good at this thing, and you might need to learn some skills to become an expert, but deep down inside this is something you’re a natural at and would be able to pick up just like that.

It’s something that is easy for you to learn because you have an intuitive understanding of it or an inherent gift for it… that is, it’s imprinted on your soul… perhaps because you’ve done this already in your past lifetimes or because your personality and deeper nature aligns with this passion.

An example would be a person who just “gets” psychology without ever having had gone to school for it. This person has an intuitive understanding of people’s behaviors, why they do what they do, and how the mind works. This is an inherent trait that they have, and their passion/purpose would probably have something to do with psychology, counseling, healing, energy work, etc.

This is why gaining an understanding of your nature through self-awareness, as well as through questionnaires, astrology, numerology, and personality tests would be greatly beneficial in uncovering what you’re naturally good at.

So let’s get into how you can find your passion! You can watch the video or read the tips below! Don’t forget to subscribe to my Youtube channel! 😊

3 TIPS TO FIND YOUR PASSION

  1. FOLLOW YOUR CURIOSITY

This is like the BEST TIP I can give you! Your curiosity is fueled by love, passion, excitement, desire, and all of that is fueled by your SOUL.

Don’t worry about whether or not you’re good at something and don’t focus too much on not having enough skills, knowledge or experience, because as long as you love what you’re doing, you will gain ALL the expertise and skills that you need. Like I said, you intuitively already “get it” which is why you are so drawn to it…as in curious about it, you just need to learn some practical skills.

So what are you interested in? What do you want to learn more about? Who and what intrigues you? What are you drawn to? What are you attracted to? What lights your soul on fire?!?! Basically, what are you curious about?

GO THAT WAY. Follow that path. Explore your curiosity. It will open doors and eventually lead you to your ultimate passion.

  2. WHO ARE YOUR ROLE MODELS AND WHO ARE YOU INSPIRED BY? AND WHAT ARE THEY LIKE/DOING?

At a very early age I was always so mesmerized by my teachers and how they did things. The way they talked, passed out papers, wrote on the chalkboard, how assertive they were, all the knowledge they had, I was so drawn to it (makes sense that I became a teacher).

Now as an adult, I still look up to a lot of people, be it public figures or regular people in my life… and all the things I admire about them are clues into what I’m genuinely passionate about.

So what is it that other people do that really inspires you? What is it about them that you admire? These are all reflections of your own light. What you love in them are parts of your own untapped potential. These people mirror back to you who you are deep down inside. What you admire in them is a version of yourself that already exists which is why you find them so inspiring.

  3. WHAT DID YOU LOVE DOING AS A CHILD?

As a child, when you had no limits and were free as a bird, and nothing held you back from being your authentic self, you engaged in activities that you genuinely enjoyed. These were pastimes that you could spend HOURS doing. What were those for you? What did you naturally gravitate towards? You might want to ask your parents.

What kinds of games did you always play, who did you pretend to be, what did you love to do, what was your personality like, what did you always talk about, what were you good at?

Were you always in the spotlight, dancing, singing, and wanting to be on camera? Were you more introverted and reading books? Were you always painting, drawing or doing something artistic? Were you creating new businesses and selling things to your “customers?” Were you always talking and explaining things you learned at school to your siblings and parents?

Make note of this because it can give you great insight into your passion.

A lot of times we think that our passion is a profession and something we’re meant to make money from. It absolutely can be, but it doesn’t have to be. Your passion also doesn’t have to be ONE thing, it can be a combination of many smaller passions.

Often times, there won’t be a traditional career or profession for what we are passionate about, so you might have to get creative on how to make money from it if you’re trying to make your passion into a profession. Which brings me to….

There is a difference between your passion and purpose…our passion is simply what we love to do without needing to share it with others. Our passion becomes our purpose when we share it with the world, use it to make a difference in people’s lives, or when we start making money from it.

So if that is the path you are on and want to find your life purpose, then start with finding your passion, and then figure out how to share it with the world.
