best decisions and how to make them

I have made some pretty drastic decisions in my life that have absolutely changed and transformed my world.

These are the types of decisions that when you decide to do it, it changes the trajectory of the rest of your life.

It's the type of decisions that "make" or "break" who you are.

It's the type of decisions that when you're 80 looking back on your life, will have you saying "I HAVE NO REGRETS."

So in today's video, I want to share these life changing decisions with you so that perhaps my story can inspire you to live your life to the fullest, despite how scary it might be.

All I can say is no matter how hard, painful, and scary it was to make these decisions, now that I can see it in hindsight and reflect on how they played out in my life, I can see that they were THE BEST DECISIONS OF MY LIFE.

In this video, I will also share how you can know if you are making the right life choices based on the common themes I noticed in all of the decisions I made.

I go into more detail in the video, but here is an overview…

3 BEST DECISIONS OF MY LIFE

  1. MOVING AWAY FROM MY “HOME TOWN” - leaving Chicago and moving to Colorado was one of the best decisions of my life. I wasn’t happy in Chicago mainly because it didn’t align with the type of lifestyle I wanted to live, the weather sucked, and I needed more nature and sunshine. Even though it was hard leaving my friends and family, I have zero regrets and I couldn’t be happier here. My soul feels at home.

So if you want to move away from your hometown and live somewhere that vibes with who you are, please go for it!!!! You will thank yourself for the rest of your life!

  2. GETTING A DIVORCE - this was the hardest decision of my life, and the saddest and most painful thing I ever had to do, but it was also one of the best decisions I could make. I was in a relationship for 14 years so it was sort of all I knew, but I wasn’t happy and I felt a strong urge to be on my own and learn how to be independent.

It’s been almost 2 years now and I often reflect on my life and I feel a deep sense of contentment, and I feel grateful that I was strong enough to walk away because I feel so aligned with my path. I’ve never been more connected to myself, and I’ve never felt more alive and empowered.

So if you are contemplating ending your marriage or relationship because you deep down know it’s not right for you, I encourage you to do it despite the fear you might feel. If you’d like one on one guidance, you can book a coaching session with me.

  3. STARTING MY ONLINE BUSINESS - when I decided 5 years ago that I would start this blog in hopes of turning it into a full time spiritual business, I knew it would be hard, but because it aligned with my purpose, passion and desired lifestyle, I went all in.

It’s definitely had its ups and downs, and by no means has it been easy, but it has been the most fulfilling thing in my life. I don’t know what I would do without it.

The beautiful thing is how it’s transformed… from blogging, to creating workbooks and online courses, now making Youtube videos, then learning how to read tarot and offering personal readings, creating oracle decks, then becoming a spiritual life coach….it’s been a wild ride and who knew I’d end up here. Like I’m a tarot reader now. Would have never predicted that lol. But I’ve just been embracing the changes and going with the flow, and none of this would have been possible if I didn’t decide 5 years ago to start this blog.

So if you have a passion, a dream, or an idea for a business, side gig, or a creative endeavor, please start!!! Your future self 5 years from now will be so happy you did!

    4. Bonus! QUITTING DRINKING ALCOHOL - sooo I quit drinking about 4 years ago because I got really bad hangovers which made me feel anxious, disconnected, irritable, unmotivated, and negative. And honestly, drinking stopped serving a meaningful purpose in my life. It was no longer fun to drink, because I realized it dumbs me down and that I can have just as much fun, if not more, sober. So what’s the point?

I love my own natural energy, not the one influenced by alcohol, and I love my clear, alert and sharp mind. When I don’t drink, it’s so much easier to be in touch with my intuition, to connect with life around me, to see things from a spiritual perspective, to be happy, to be high vibe, and to basically be the person I want to be. I also don’t feel anxious anymore, at least not like I used to, so I know alcohol played a big role in that.

So if you want to become the “best version of yourself” and live a truly spiritually connected life, then I’d start with cutting out alcohol! It has been one of the best decisions of my life and I don’t at all crave it, miss it, or desire it.

Common themes I noticed in all of these decisions:

  1. They always aligned with my values, dreams, ideal life, ideal future, how I want to live my life, and who I want to be. They all contributed to me being happier.

  2. They always intuitively felt right. There was always a deeper knowing that this is something I need to do. They were all soul guided and soul aligned decisions, even if they didn’t make sense logically or intellectually.

To learn more about your intuition, check out this video.

  3. They always scared the shit out of me. All of these decisions created some sort of fear inside of me which is what told me that it’s meant for me. Something I’ve learned is that if it scares you, it’s probably meant for you. This has proven to be true for all of the major decisions in my life, and has always taken me closer to my true path. Something that is scary has the most potential to grow and transform you, and it’s those things that have the biggest payoff. So go where the fear is.
